The Historic District is packed with old houses, condos, townhouses etc. To live in the Historic district of Downtown Savannah is to live in paradise. Savannah has many historic districts including the Landmark Historic district, Thomas Square which is often referred to as the Starland Design District or the Starland art District. There are the early automobile suburbs of Baldwin Park, Ardsley Park, Parkside, and Gordonston. Travelling south the later (50's - 60's) homes are in Kensington Park, Fairway Oaks and Oakdale.
